VISA

To apply for Bangladesh visa, the applicant must submit original passport valid for at least 06 months with minimum two blank pages. Visa application must be submitted to the High Commission in a prescribed visa application form along with 2 (two) recent passport size photographs with white background. Incomplete application form or application with incorrect information or insufficient supporting papers may be rejected without citing any reason thereof. Applicant may be called for an interview if it is felt necessary by the visa issuing officer.

Payment:
Please pay the visa fees payable in cash to Bangladesh High Commission, Nigeria.The Visa Fee is Non-refundable even if the visa is refused.

Visa processing time:
At least Five (05) working days. Some case will require additional administrative processing and cannot expedite these requirements, therefore we recommend you not to purchase flight ticket until you have your passport along with visa, returned to you.

Requirements for different Visas

1. A letter from concern business organization in Nigeria introducing the applicant, his employment status in the organization and the purpose of visit to Bangladesh.
2. A letter of invitation from Bangladeshi organization mentioning the applicant's name, passport number, the purpose of visit and duration for which visa is required. It should be addressed to Bangladesh High Commission, Nigeria.
3. The National ID Card of the invitee.
4. Two(2) Passport Photographs
Duration of Business Visa is Maximum six (06) months.

1. Invitation letter from any Bangladeshi citizen along with the copy of his/her valid Bangladesh Passport or National ID Card / invitation letter from any Bangladesh organization / hotel booking confirmation.
2. Evidence that you can support yourself during your trip, such as last three month's bank statements or payslips.
3. Reservation of air ticket.
4. Two(2) Passport Photographs
5. National ID, Driver's License,or Certificate of origin of the Applicant
6.Letter of Introduction from you current place of employment
Duration of Tourist Visa is Maximum two (02) months.

1. A letter from concern NGO duly attested by the NGO Affairs Bureau, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
2. Appointment letter with full terms, conditions and salary details from the NGO (where the applicant is going to join).
3. A letter from concern organization in Nigeria mentioning the applicant's position in the organization and the purpose of visit to Bangladesh
4. Two(2) Passport Photographs
Duration of NGO Visa is Maximum three (03) months. Visa may be further extended from Bangladesh.

1. Filled up FF1 and FF2 form with signature.
2. Invitation letter from local coordinator of Bangladesh.
3. Equipment list.
4. A Letter from the Organization / Media House where the applicant is currently working.
5. A special story line on your project
6. Address of the place you plan to reside while in Bangladesh
7. Two(2) Passport Photographs
Duration of Journalist Visa is Maximum one (01) month.

1. A letter from concern employer of Bangladesh mentioning the applicant's position in the organization.
2. Approval letter from relevant Ministry or Board of Investment (BOI) or Export Processing Zone of Bangladesh.
3. Appointment letter and contract papers with full terms and conditions including salary details.
4. Two(2) Passport Photographs
Duration of Employment Visa is Maximum three (03) months. Visa may be further extended from Bangladesh.

1. Original Note Verbal or official letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria mentioning the applicant's position, duration of stay and the date of joining in the concern embassy/ office/organization in Bangladesh.
2. Two(2) Passport Photographs
Duration of Diplomatic / Official Visa: As required.

1. A letter from Government approved Educational Institution of Bangladesh where the applicant has gotten admission or is going to be admitted.
2. Sponsorship letter from the concern Educational Institutions of Bangladesh.
3. Last three month's bank statements of Applicant/Sponsor.
4. Applicant must bring acopies of all educational certificates as well as Student ID Card.
5. Two(2) Passports Photographs
Duration of Student Visa is Maximum one (01) year. Visa may be further extended from Bangladesh.

1. An approval letter from the respective Ministry of Bangladesh.
2. A Letter from concern Organization / Institution of Bangladesh mentioning the applicant's purpose of visit with details of the Research / Training / Internship program.
3. A letter from the present Employer/ Organization where the applicant belongs to.
4. Two(2) Passports Photographs
Duration of Employment Visa is Maximum three (03) months. Visa may be further extended from Bangladesh.

1. An approval letter from the respective Ministry or Authoritis in Bangladesh.
2. A Letter from concern Organization / Institution of Bangladesh mentioning the applicant's purpose of visit with details of the Research / Training / Internship program.
3. A letter from the present Employer/ Organization where the applicant belongs to.
4. Two(2) Passports Photographs
Duration of Employment Visa is Maximum three (03) months. Visa may be further extended from Bangladesh.
